Ride-Alongs
Participating in the ride-along program is a great way to learn about the Sheriff's Office operations. You may accompany a patrol deputy on a day, evening or night shift. Ride-alongs show citizens the day-to-day challenges that law enforcement officers face. They also demonstrate the critical role that dispatchers and other communications personnel play in ensuring citizens' and officers' safety.

To ride along with a deputy, you must first complete and submit a Ride-Along Program application. Applications may also be obtained at the Sheriff's office information window in the Nolan County Court House, 100 East 3rd Street, Suite 110, Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
