Contact was made with the driver, D\u2019Jaman West, of San Antonio who was accompanied by passenger, Elita Williams, of Sweetwater.<\/p>\n<p>During a roadside investigation, the deputy detected indicators of criminal activity, which later led to the discovery of a substantial quantity of suspected marijuana that was concealed within the vehicle; also located was paraphernalia used in its consumption. Assisting the deputy in the traffic stop were DPS, Colorado City and Sweetwater Police units.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. West and Ms. Williams were both arrested and transported to the Nolan County jail where they were charged with the felony offense of possession of marijuana.
