law enforcement officers continued\narrests on seventeen more co-defendants connected to an ongoing criminal\nconspiracy drug investigation that has already netted 13 arrests on January 22<sup>nd<\/sup>\nof this year and November 2<sup>nd<\/sup> of 2018.&nbsp; The warrants and arrests were the result of a\njoint operation involving Nolan County Sheriff\u2019s Office \u2013 Criminal\nInvestigation Division, Texas Department of Public Safety \u2013 Criminal\nInvestigations Division (Abilene) and investigators with the 32nd Judicial\nDistrict Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Texas Department of Public Safety \u2013 Criminal Investigations Division (San Angelo) also assisted with the arrests today by serving two of the arrest warrants on subjects located in San Angelo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These\nlatest arrests were co-defendants that have participated in \u201cEngaging in\nOrganized Criminal Activity\u201d, a first-degree felony, involving the\nmanufacture\/delivery of a controlled substance, in particular methamphetamine\nand heroin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of\nthe 17 new arrest warrants issued, as of 5:00PM today, 14 have been arrested. &nbsp;10 were arrested in Sweetwater, 1 in Roscoe, 2\nin San Angelo and a hold was initiated on 1 subject already serving time in\nprison. One other individual was also arrested on an unrelated misdemeanor\nwarrant at one of the Sweetwater locations.&nbsp;\nLaw enforcement officers continue their search for three (3) remaining\nsubjects with the warrants for the same charge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those\narrested are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Chance Brooke BENSON, age 28, white male, arrested on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in San Angelo. Benson is charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity \u2013 1st Degree Felony.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Jason Lee\nCOSBY, age 39, white male, arrested on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in Sweetwater.\nCosby is charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity \u2013 1st Degree\nFelony.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Arnulfo\nDELGADO, age 32, white male, arrested on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in Sweetwater.\nDelgado is charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity \u2013 1st Degree\nFelony.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Adam\nMartin GARZA, age 32, white male, hold placed on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 as\nGarza is already serving prison time in the Texas Department of Criminal\nJustice. Garza is charged now with the additional charge of Engaging in\nOrganized Criminal Activity \u2013 1st Degree Felony.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Christopher\nJoseph HAMM, age 29, white male, arrested on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in\nSweetwater. Hamm is charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity \u2013 1st\nDegree Felony.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Jody\nShane JONES, age 47, white female, arrested on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in\nSweetwater. Jones is charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity \u2013 1st\nDegree Felony. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Moses\nJacob LARA, age 42, white female, arrested on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in\nSweetwater. Lara is charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity \u2013 1st\nDegree Felony.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Michael\nAlan LEDBETTER, age 49, white male, arrested on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in\nSweetwater. Ledbetter is charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity \u2013\n1st Degree Felony.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Douglas\nJames MONDAY, age 45, white male, arrested on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in\nSweetwater. Monday is charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity \u2013\n1st Degree Felony.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Michael David MORGAN, age 51, white male, arrested on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in Sweetwater. Morgan is charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity \u2013 1st Degree Felony.&nbsp; Morgan was also found in possession of heroin in a \u201cdrug free zone\u201d, at the time of his arrest on the warrant, and was charged with an additional third-degree felony.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Francisco Javier PENA, age 29, white male, arrested on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in Roscoe. Pena is charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity \u2013 1st Degree Felony.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Tyler Scott POLK, age 29, white male, arrested on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in San Angelo. &nbsp;Polk is charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity \u2013 1st Degree Felony.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Monica RODRIGUEZ, age 28, white female, arrested on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in Sweetwater. Rodriguez is charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity \u2013 1st Degree Felony.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Helena Jade TOLLISON, age 29, white female, arrested on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in Sweetwater.
