On Sunday, September 22, 2013, the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft that occurred in the 200 block of Loop 544 (Broadway), in Roscoe. It was reported that sometime between the hours of 11:00AM and 1:00PM, an unknown person(s) drove onto the property and took a black, triple-axle gooseneck stock trailer that displayed Texas license plate DKHP41. It was reported that the thieve(s) used a cutting tool, and cut a hitch lock that was in place while the trailer was parked, and not being used. The trailer is equipped with a canvas roof/top and is valued approximately $9,500.00.

On Tuesday, September 17, 2013, the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of criminal mischief that occurred at a residence located at 5500 C, County Road 181, in Blackwell. It was reported that sometime between the hours of 7:00PM on Friday, September 6, 2013 and 2:00AM on Saturday, September 7, 2013, an unknown person(s) traveled to the property and destroyed a mailbox valued at approximately $100.00.

On Tuesday, September 17, 2013, the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary of habitation that occurred at a residence located at 1102 Farm to Market Road 1544, in Sweetwater. It was reported that sometime between Monday, September 16, 2013, at 2:00PM and Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at 1:30PM, an unknown person(s) broke a rear door window, to enter the residence. Once inside, the thieve(s) took two (2) refrigerated air conditioner window units, and two (2) electric space heaters. The items taken have a combined value of approximately $550.00.
