On Friday, July 19, 2013, the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft that occurred at the Cedar Oil pulling unit located in the 1000 block of Interstate Highway 20, in Trent. It was reported that sometime between Thursday, July 18, 2013, at 7:00PM and Friday, July 19, 2013, at 8:00AM, an unknown person(s) used fore by cutting a padlock to enter the property. Once inside, the thieve(s) took two (2) air slip dies, two (2) tubing elevators, and a clevis. The thieve(s) then intentionally caused damage to the control panel of a backhoe that was parked on the property. The combined value of the items taken and the property that was damaged is estimated at approximately $13,500.00
