On Thursday, April 4, 2013, the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of criminal mischief that took place at the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Depot, located at 2600 Santa Fe Depot Road, in Sweetwater. It was reported that sometime on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, between the hours of 12:45PM and 3:00PM, an unknown person(s) traveled onto the property and methodically slashed or punctured the tires of two employee vehicles that were parked on the property. The combined value of the property damage to both vehicles is estimated at approximately $590.00.

On Wednesday, April 3, 2013, the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary that took place at a residence located in the 2000 block of county road 111, in  Roscoe. It was reported that sometime between Monday, April 1, 2013 and Tuesday, April 2, 2013, an unknown person(s) entered the residence. Once inside, the thieve(s) took a guitar and two (2) firearms from a gun cabinet. The combined value of the property taken is estimated at approximately $500.00.

On Tuesday, April 2, 2013, the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft that took place at a residence located in the 200 block of county road 205, in Nolan. It was reported that sometime between Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 12:30PM and Monday, April 1, 2013, at 3:25PM, an unknown person(s) entered the property and took a heavy metal broiler, aluminum cable, a cast iron tub, and a large silver cattle gate. The combined value of the property that was taken is estimated at approximately $335.00.

On Friday, March 29, 2013, the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary that took place at a residence located in the 1300 block of county road 143, in Sweetwater. It was reported that sometime between Sunday, March 24, 2013, at 6:00PM and Friday, March 29, 2013, at 3:25PM, an unknown person(s) entered the property and used force to enter a storage building. Once inside, the thieve(s) took an early 1950`s model Ford pickup bed and frame, and four (4) standard size truck tires. The combined value of the property that was taken is valued at approximately $9,700.00.

On Monday, March 18, 2013, the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft that took place at the Coe Construction Company located in the 100 block of county road 246, in Sweetwater. It was reported that sometime on Monday, March 18, 2013 between the hours of 7:00AM and 5:45PM, an unknown person(s) entered the property and took two (2) tool boxes from the bed of a truck that was parked on the property. The tool boxes were reported to contain an assortment of mechanics tools. The combined value of the property taken is estimated at approximately $1,507.00.

On Monday, March 11, 2013, the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary that took place at a residence located at 256 county road 247, in Sweetwater. It was reported that sometime on Monday, March 11, 2013, an unknown person(s) traveled onto the property and used force to enter a metal storage building. Once inside, the thieve(s) took a white 1992 Isuzu, a white camper, a green homemade trailer constructed of a Chevrolet truck bed equipped with tool box, a water well system and several metal plumbing pipes. The combined value of the items that were taken, and damage to the property is estimated at approximately $2,300.00.
