On Saturday, May 30, 2015 at approximately 11:30PM, deputies responded to the report of a burglary of vehicle that occurred in the 100 block of Cypress Street, in Roscoe. It was reported that an unknown person(s) used force, and entered four (4) vehicles. Once inside, the thieve(s) took purses, United States currency and other financial documents. The combined value of the items taken and damage to the vehicles is estimated at approximately $5,500.00.

The Nolan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a theft that occurred over the weekend at the Estes Express Lines terminal located in the 10000 block on Interstate Highway Twenty, in Sweetwater. It was reported that an unknown person(s) used force to enter the fenced property. Once inside, the thieve(s) entered several trailers and took items that ranged from an assortment name brand cigarettes, bed sheets, air fresheners, and moon pie snacks. The combined value of the items taken, as well as damage to the property is estimated at approximately $52,000.00.

The Nolan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a utility trailer that was taken from the county road 152 area near Roscoe. It was reported that an unknown person(s) cut a lock, entered the property and took the trailer sometime after 6:00PM on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. The utility trailer was described as having a single axle and is black in color.

The Nolan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a trailer-mounted Miller welding machine that was taken from the Buzzi Unicem Cement plant in Maryneal. It was reported that an unknown person(s) entered the property and took the welding machine sometime after 2:30PM on Monday, April 13, 2015. The welding machine was described as being blue in color and secured to a trailer.

Taylor Drive, in Sweetwater. It was reported that sometime between December 17, 2014 and January 15, 2015, an unknown person(s) entered the welding center. Once inside, the thieve(s) took four (4) welding machines, and two (2) pipe beveling devices. The combined value of the property taken is estimated at approximately $11,300.00.

On Saturday, January 10, 2015, the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Burglary of Habitation that occurred in the 5000 block of Highway 70, in Sweetwater. It was reported that sometime between Sunday, January 4, 2015 and Saturday, January 10, 2015, an unknown person(s) entered the property. Once on the property, the theive(s) entered a residence and took numerous firearms, televisions and other miscellaneous property. This burglary is currently under investigation, and the value of the items taken has not yet been estimated.
