On Monday, November 30, 2015, Nolan County deputy Chad Mitchell in collaboration with Sergeant Jason Haak of the Abilene Police Department and the Fraud Unit apprehended a felon who has been hiding to avoid detection by law enforcement.

Earlier today, Deputy Mitchell along with Sergeant Haak and the fraud unit made entry into a residence located in the 2200 block of Amarillo Street, Abilene. Once inside, the team was able to locate Tucker Dan Tomlin, a Sweetwater man wanted by the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, Escape from Custody, Resist Arrest/Search Transport and Theft of Property, a combination of felony and misdemeanor offenses. Tomlin was placed under arrest and transported to the Taylor County jail where he was booked in on the outstanding warrants.
