On Wednesday, June 28, 2017, the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft that occurred at the Stonebriar tank battery site, located in the 1600 block of Farm to Market Road 1170, in Maryneal. It was reported that sometime between Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at 1:40PM, and Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at 7:32AM, an unknown person(s) traveled onto the property and took approximately 240 barrels of crude oil, valued at an estimated $12,000.00, off the site.
