On Friday, August 23, 2013, the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft that occurred at the Heart Land drilling rig #14 located in the 3800 block of County Road 133, in Roscoe. It was reported that sometime between Thursday, August 22, 2013, at 8:00PM and Friday, August 23, 2013, at 8:00AM, an unknown person(s) entered the property and used force to enter a secured dog house. Once inside, the thieve(s) took a 20″ LCD television, a DVD player, three-hundred (300) DVD’s, a coffee maker, a bucket containing an assortment of hand tools, two (2) 36″ pipe wrenches, two (2) sledge hammers, and four (4) pair of work boots. The thieve(s) then used force to enter another secured dog house, and took a 17″ Hughes brand bit that is valued at approximately $35,726.30. The items taken have a combined value of approximately $39,401.30.
