Theft (Blackwell)

On Friday, June 21, 2013, the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft that occurred at the Corner Grocery and Deli store located at 104 West Main, in Blackwell. It was reported that sometime on Friday, June 21, 2013, at approximately 10:20AM, two unknown Hispanic male subjects entered the store and carried out a plot that required the clerk to leave the register for a short period of time. Once the clerk was away, one of the thieves opened the cash register, and took a total of twelve (12) twenty dollar bills, $240.00.

Theft (Maryneal)

On Thursday, June 6, 2013, the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft that took place at several locations on Texas Oklahoma Railroad property located on Farm to Market Road 608, in Maryneal. It was reported that sometime between Sunday, May 26, 2013 and Tuesday, June 6, 2013, an unknown person(s) traveled onto the property and took one (1) railroad switch stand, several 8’ railroad bars, and several hundred double lipped railroad tie plates. The combined value of the property taken is estimated at approximately $5,000.00.
