Traffic Stop leads to warrant arrest and seizure of suspected methamphetamine

FRANCO, REGINO ALVARADOOn Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at approximately 5PM, a Nolan County deputy stopped a red Ford SUV and arrested the driver, Regino Franco on an outstanding felony warrant. During the stop, the deputy detected indicators of criminal activity which subsequently lead to the discovery of suspected methamphetamine.

Mr. Franco was placed under arrest and transported to the Nolan County jail where he was processed on the outstanding warrant and charged with the felony offense of possession of methamphetamine. This case will be filed with the 32nd Judicial District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
