| The Marine section
is made up of numerous individuals that have knowledge
of the laws of the State of Texas, Water Safety Act laws,
and laws that affect the boating of water vessels in Nolan
County lakes.
Utilizing a 14 foot aluminum custom built boat powered
by twin 420 horsepower diesel engines, this specialized
section is activated in missing swimmer rescues, the
search and recovery of property and drowning victims
as well as many other water related functions.
To assist in the various underwater functions, the
vessel is equipped with radar, GPS and sonar capabilities,
and is a regional support platform for long term recovery
and operation missions.
With experience, training and equipment, the marine
section provides valuable services to the citizens of
Nolan County.
